Camera Control on AB-Arts Studio: explore every angle of an image

AB-Arts Studio now ships Camera Control: the ability to generate multiple angles of the same subject from a source image. Drop in an image, pick the angle you want (three-quarters, profile, low angle, top-down), and the model renders the subject under the new angle while keeping its appearance, clothing, lighting and background intact.

It's one of those features that look small on paper but quietly change a designer's or an AI photographer's day-to-day: instead of praying for a new prompt to bring back the same character, you simply rotate them with a click.

Why it matters

Subject consistency from one image to another is the classic Achilles' heel of generative image models. You get a convincing face, but the moment you ask for a different angle, the face drifts. Camera Control breaks that bottleneck.

Three concrete uses emerge:

  • Character consistency — generate a character facing the camera, then pull a three-quarter and profile view for a storyboard or a coherent character sheet.
  • Complete product set — a front-facing product image becomes a full set (front, three-quarter, back, top) without a new shoot and without a new prompt.
  • Storyboard and alternate shots — find the angle that best tells your scene before committing to the final render through a video model or an upscaler.

How to use it

In a Studio session, pick a compatible image model (compatible models show the Camera Control glyph in the list). Drop in your source image, select the angle you want in the dedicated panel, run. Token cost shows up before execution, just like any other generation.

💡 Pro tip. For the best results, start from a sharp, well-lit source image with the subject centred and clearly cut from the background. The more readable the source, the more faithful the derived angles.

Who's it for

Where it fits in the pipeline

Camera Control makes the most sense at the end of the chain: generate your primary image with your model of choice (Nano Banana 2, Seedream, etc.), validate the art direction, then derive multiple angles through Camera Control. The result then feeds an upscaler for finishing, or a video model to put the scene in motion.

Inside the AB-Arts Studio Node Editor you can wire this whole pipeline into a single graph: source image → Camera Control (4 angles in parallel) → upscaler → delivery. One session, multiple angles, predictable token cost.
